Using a mixed media process of metal aluminum sheets, resin and transparency images; this series addresses both emotional and neurological approaches involving mental illness. This collection will allow the viewer to reflect on the inner workings of the artist’s experience with bipolar disease. This will be shared through respective representation of the artists involvement in depression, insomnia, medication, psychosis and mania in the battle and stabilization forthcoming of diagnosis.

I would like to include that I respect everyone’s differing interpretations, trauma, and feelings within their own lives, and am in no way trying to define anyone else’s experiences within my own.
