Installations
Within my 16 years of working in various art mediums, I have had the pleasure and the privilege of creating meaningful and impactful art for events, such as Shabang. These art installations brought people together and acted as a focal point at each event.
Today, these installations are available and ready to enhance your event! Take a look at our installations for inspiration and to ent for your next event!
These public art installations were created by Tracey Springford and Taylor Venturini to enrich the lives of festival participants. Since then, they have evolved into unique art pieces that fit all events and continue to bring people together.
Both art pieces are available for rent to enhance any event and give guests a special experience. Please reach out to us through the “Contact Me” page or via Instagram.
Shabang 2022
LABYRINTH
This installation was founded on the five fundamental pillars of California Central Coast’s Shabang Music Festival: Overflowing Music & Experimental Art, Good Vibes, Community Participation, Inclusion, and Social Responsibility while giving direction toward our past, present, and future. A sixth mirrored door acts as a physical symbol of reflection upon all of these values. A mirrored door frame allows the viewer to see themselves as a reflection of all five pillars. The goal of this project fosters community built on inclusion and creativity and now swerves any one who wishes for our doors to stand with them.
Mission
We took six thrifted doors and created completely different portals independent of one another leading into the minds of our imagination to create a grnd collective for this installation and encourage others to open themselves to creative outlet opportunities alongside us.
We want to work to cultivate a community dedicated to passion for continuing an appreciation of the arts. We hope to inspire others to adopt the role of advocate, protector, enthusiast, and lifetime learner in the hope of extending the support of artistic expression.
VISION
Here
The concept for HERE: Release Yourself to the Present, seeks to promote social cohesion, personal health, and creative expression. We intend to create an immersive artistic rendering that will impact viewers through art and provide lasting memories through experience shared with others.
We want our work to cultivate community dedicated to passion appreciation of the arts. We hope to inspire others to adopt the role of advocate, protector, enthusiast, and lifetime learner in extending the support of artistic expression.
Mission
This installation is constructed of multicolored 3-dimensional acrylic glass letters spelling the word “HERE”. This word was chosen because people often use this word to orient themselves or to describe where they are. Ironically, you could sya you are “here,” but not fully allow yourself to be mentally present. In regards ot the interactive element of this piece, alongside the sculpture, a stand is place where people can write down and seal a secret, thought our worry. giving the community an opportunity for release from what is written so they are able to be present in the moment - being HERE, now. There is a single slit in each letter in which festival participants will be prompted to insert their writings into the sealed interior of a letter of their choosing. This collective interaction aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of community, in that no one is alone within the weight of circumstance following the events of COVID, hoping to elevate the value of each person’s presence.
